River City Recycling
Missed the neighborhood cleanup, here are some reasonable ways to eliminate large items cheap.
In the City of Omaha, large items can be dumped at River City Recycling. A one time $15 payment is good for 4 vouchers that are good for four trips to their site! They are located on 6404 South 60th Street, just north of Harrison and very close to our neighborhood! See site link below for more details.

You can also dump large items at the Council Bluffs Recycling Center on 4441 Gifford Road just south of highway 275 across the Veterans Memorial Bridge (South Omaha bridge) See map below. Furniture and other bulky waste items are $55 per ton. The price is prorated, every 180 lbs is only $5! There is a minimum $5 charge per load.
